And Go --- just started

Honestly. I'm not the best writer. And I am not the most disciplined blogger. BUT I do not only want my german speaking friends and families to know what I'm up to.
I'm aware that my english speaking families and friends can't understand my German blog. So, here I am with an english written one.

I want to warn you. I won't write ever week as I know myself, but I'm going to try writing regulary.
And another warning. My English grammar (as my German one) isn't perfect. So please excuse and ignore all my mistakes.

Good we are cool with that now.

Two months ago I arrived in the be town named Deal in Kent, UK.
So, what am I'm doing here you might wonder?

I have the privilege to have an internship in a church here. I'm going to stay until March 2016 to learn about how they do church, Missional communities, leadership and just new friends and experiences.

After a few weeks I've already settled down and I feel totally home and that it is the place to be right now. And I really enjoy speaking english all the time ;)

I work in different areas in church:
- youth work (various things)
- childrens minstry
- pastoral work
- worship
- ministry in the office
- everthing and everywhere else where they need a helping hand

And what I really love about this: Every day is different! And it's all about God.

They give me lots of opportunities to come, see and learn. Either by just watching or by doing. I'm getting challenged in so many ways. And I, my confidence and most important, my faith and relationship to God is growing.

Where have I been and what have I done yet?

I've been in Cambridge to visit some relatives, I've never met before. That was so cool and a blessed time!
I've been in Liverpool to a Workshop about Gospel, Communities and Mission (lead by Caesar Kalinowski) and enjoyed the city, conversations and challenges (3C's!!!). Again a very blessed time together with some of the staff team from St.Georges.
I've seen a little of Dover  and the white cliffs.
I do see France once in a while on a nice and not so cloudy (sometimes sunny) day.

Working in all this areas, having seing all this places, being introduced and go to know so many lovely people - I really am a very thankful girl saying: "God here I am. I go."  -- And I know: I just started my journey.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart

-Jeremia 29, 11-13
